In this case, we worked with a property manager with tenants who, following recent storms, discovered mold growing on a bedroom window thanks to an apparent leak at the roof line. Our inspector performed moisture mapping and inspected the roof and crawl space. They next made recommendations for repairs to the roof and gutters and to dehumidify the room in question until moisture readings were adequate.
Once the space was ready for mold remediation, we started by dehumidifying the space. Dehumidification took a bit longer than usual due to the inclement weather, but once completed, we were able to successfully perform our two-step vapor fog process and provide the client with independent reports reflecting zero culturable mold in the space.
This was the first time our client had heard of this type of mold remediation technology, for which she was especially grateful as her tenants are sensitive to mold. Our groundbreaking process enabled her to provide them with independent documentation revealing that all mold in the space had been eliminated.
